THEATRE COURSE DESCRIPTIONS

 

 

Musical Theater…. URAMC

A one-year course designed to give students experiences in all aspects of theatrical production from acting, technical and business perspectives.  Students will receive instruction in acting, scenery painting, lighting design, set design, costumes, box office management and the business of managing an acting career.  Students will participate in a straight play in the fall, and a musical in the spring.

Pre-requisite: None

Teacher Recommendation Required

This is an annualized class.  However, students may remain in URMC beyond two semesters, based upon their interest and the instructor’s discretion.
